Overview:

We are seeking a Print Production Specialist with skills to fulfill intermediate contracted customer requirements, including document assembly and finishing.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive, review, and electronically log customer jobs. Operate standard finishing equipment (e.g., paper cutters, inserters, laminators, hole punchers) and office/production equipment (printers, copiers, fax, scan).
2. Apply asset tags to office equipment, update databases, and coordinate asset moves, additions, or changes. Process and log faxes for billing.
3. Process forms, update information using a PC, and handle packing, labeling, and shipping of finished products. Collect and submit meter reads, maintain inventory, and distribute supplies.
4. Perform quality inspections before, during, and after production runs. Sort and scan materials for digital or printed use. Training on specific applications may be provided.
5. Address print/copy equipment issues by contacting service personnel via PC applications. Operate high-volume printers and copiers. Estimate, schedule, and track jobs.
6. Store jobs for reuse, including file backups. Inspect files for issues like font and image resolution. Index electronic materials to media for reproduction and distribution. Integrate variable data files into printed formats.
7. Handle file/document conversion using standard software. Perform operator maintenance. Maintain logs for billing. Reuse stored jobs as needed.
8. Provide minimal training to end-users on equipment. Develop work processes or templates. Operate high-volume folding and mailing equipment if required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
