Job summary

RRD is seeking a quality control inspector to perform visual inspection of printed materials and ensure conformance to customer specifications. You will follow SOPs, document defects, and communicate findings to manufacturing leadership while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 2+ years in a printing QC/QA environment, strong communication, and solid organizational skills to manage deadlines and collaborate with teams across production and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a quality control/assurance function in a printing environment required.
• Knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing operations procedures relevant to the role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain quality policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines and coordinate with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of printed materials for defects.
• Follow inspection checklist and record defects.
• Adhere to SOPs to ensure product quality.
• Prepare written reports and notify management of defects.
• Identify issues and involve leadership to determine solutions.
• Assist with special projects or complex orders.
• Assist with disposition of defective products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Train and mentor new and existing employees to improve productivity.
