Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Print Production Specialist to coordinate production of printed materials and related services, maintaining positive customer relations from initial contact through final disposition of the customer's product.

You will engage customers to gather requirements, translate into manufacturing instructions, monitor progress, and coordinate with internal plants and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant admin/operational support in manufacturing or related office environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication to coordinate across departments.
• Able to apply policies and procedures consistently in daily duties.
• Proficient with MS Office or MAC word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to gather job requirements and translate into manufacturing instructions and shipping details.
• Maintain positive customer relations through all stages of production and final disposition.
• Provide quality review to ensure information is accurate before production begins.
• Enter and verify job instructions in manufacturing systems and schedule production.
• Coordinate with customers on status, changes, and approvals; review proofs when needed.
• Coordinate production with internal plants and external vendors as required.
• Resolve customer or production issues by coordinating with appropriate departments.
