Job summary

Novolex is seeking a skilled press operator at our Lancaster, TX facility to run six- or eight-color dry offset presses. You will ensure artwork accuracy, maintain quality, and supervise a small packer/loader crew while meeting production targets and safety guidelines.

You'll work all shifts with potential weekend hours, maintain scrap below 2%, and perform routine maintenance as needed. A high school diploma and some printing experience preferred; strong mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some printing and mechanical experience desired.
• Be an active learner and listener with some troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate dry offset presses to target production speeds and quality standards.
• Monitor print quality and ensure it matches the signed sample.
• Keep scrap at or below 2%.
• Read ECS and shop orders to verify final packaging and labels.
• Oversee packer and loader crew.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on presses as needed.
• Adhere to GMP policies and safety requirements.
• Work shifts as scheduled, including weekends; support 24/5/7 plant operations.
