Offset Press Operator
Role Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Offset Press Operator to join their growing team and deliver high‑quality craft. The role focuses on operating Komori LS and GL series automated offset sheet‑fed printing equipment and ensuring product quality and efficiency.
Key Results Areas
- Operate high‑quality products using Komori LS and GL series automated offset sheet‑fed printing equipment (6‑color).
- Perform machine make‑ready, achieve run speed standards, and maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Monitor product quality to minimize waste and rework.
- Apply G7 color theory, including gray balance, dot gain, and ink trap, for high‑quality printing.
- Accurately record time and materials and maintain equipment.
- Diagnose problems, adjust, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance promptly.
- Follow safe working, housekeeping procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform other related duties to support efficient unit operation.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of offset (sheet‑fed) printing experience.
- Proficiency with 40” multi‑color (6 units) offset press equipment.
- Understanding of LAB values and ink adjustments to maintain brand color compliance.
- Experience with G7 color theory and UV technology.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 60 lbs.
