Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience managing people leaders in a high-paced environment, with 1–2 years of print/mail, production or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to think on your feet; creative problem-solving and high attention to detail.
• Experience with capacity planning and budget management.
• Flexibility for non-standard hours during peak production periods and potential events, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong leadership presence and initiative: inspiring teams in high-pressure environments.
• Proven track record of operational excellence: meeting KPIs and building high-performing teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with vendors, staff, and management.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows or site visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage departmental expenses and prepare business cases for capital expenditures.
• Establish, communicate, and revise departmental and individual KPIs.
• Provide performance feedback and guide talent development of direct reports.
• Maximize Client Mail equipment utilization and prioritize work.
• Maintain knowledge of high-speed and manual insertion technologies.
• Develop technical knowledge of Client Mail equipment and other departments’ functions.
• Ensure compliance with USPS regulations and postal requirements.
• Provide regular performance feedback and documentation.
• Address personnel issues and motivate staff to a high-engagement level.
• Ensure backups are available to support Client Mail Insertion and Manual Distribution.
