Job summary

PaperWorks US is seeking an experienced Print Department Manager for our Baldwinsville, NY folding carton plant. This role leads the entire Press Department, including Flexo and Litho operations, to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

The manager will drive Lean manufacturing, coach press staff, and optimize production workflows while maintaining strong stakeholder communications and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience with folding carton applications across Flexo/Litho.
• Bachelor's degree or 7–10 years in Lithography/Flexography.
• Folding carton industry experience is required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure press operations meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Coordinate daily plant activities to achieve manufacturing goals.
• Promote LEAN manufacturing to meet quality and cost targets.
• Maintain high standards of safety, customer service, print quality, and on-time production.
• Monitor and control waste to manage costs and environmental impact.
• Review production costs and implement improvements to enhance profitability.
• Develop communication across stakeholder groups to support collaboration.
• Provide coaching, development, and performance management for press team.
