Job summary

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of press department equipment and production requirements.
• Experience in printing, prepress, OPV, and lamination.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety rules.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform measurements.
• Willingness to complete company and regulatory training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in printing and prepress operations.
• Oversee daily press operations for quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Monitor product quality on all presses and approve proofs and setups.
• Read and interpret work orders, specs, artwork, and customer requirements.
• Input production data and maintain QC logs.
• Train and develop press department staff and plan workloads.
• Enforce safety, quality, and company policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
