Job summary

Heartland Label Printers seeks an Operations Lead to drive safety, quality and productivity across the coating, press, and die-cutting teams. You will coach operators, support the shift manager, and ensure daily performance targets are met while fostering accountability and teamwork.

You’ll provide technical support, oversee staffing decisions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor. Strong leadership and printing-process knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on safety.
• Experience in producing high-quality printed products and meeting performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach operators and technicians to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards; manage shift coverage and staffing.
• Support and participate in 5S and other continuous improvement activities.
• Handle administrative duties such as timekeeping and shift communications when needed.
