AlphaGraphics is seeking a full-time, on-site Print & Bindery Production Manager in Dallas to lead multiple print and bindery projects, manage schedules, and coordinate with Pre-press, Press, and Bindery teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the printing industry and at least 3 years in management, with strong people leadership, communication, and meticulous organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple print & bindery projects simultaneously
• Understand digital printing and bindery processes
• Maintain and order supplies for print and bindery
• Plan and coordinate print production schedules
• Coordinate between Pre-press, Press, Bindery, Quality and other departments
• Provide creative solutions to production issues
• Be a team player to meet project deadlines
• Analyze monthly performance data
• Participate in hands-on work in digital print and bindery as needed

Duties And Responsibilities

• Management of multiple projects simultaneously
• Full understanding of digital printing and bindery
• Maintaining and ordering supplies and stock for the print and bindery departments
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Define and coordinate print production schedules
• Liaising among different departments e.g. Pre-press, Press, Bindery, Quality, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and execute successfully
• Provide creative solutions to production issues
• Be a team player; doing whatever is necessary to meet project demands and deadlines
• Responsible for monthly performance analysis
• Work in the digital print and bindery departments as needed

Requirements And Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the Printing Industry
• Minimum 3 years in Management
• Ability to work and interact with a variety of individuals
• Strong people management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven and multi project coordination environment
