Job summary

AlphaGraphic Knox Street is seeking an experienced Signs & Graphics Project Manager to join our growing team, coordinating complex signage projects from bid to installation.

You will liaise between sales, design, estimating and manufacturing, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure timely delivery, workmanship and client satisfaction.

This on-site role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to travel to client locations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years sign industry experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate across departments.
• Experience securing permits and landlord approvals.
• Read/interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily customer communication.
• Involvement in pre-bid process for prospective clients.

• Qualify and negotiate with subcontractors for permits and installations.

Duties

Responsible for coordinating and managing all assigned projects including the planning of projects, the development of project bids, timelines and assigning necessary sub-contractors and internal personnel. This position is the liaison between sales, design and estimating, quality and manufacturing management and other personnel by performing the following duties:

• Coordinates customer projects including the planning of projects, the development of project bids, and timelines
• Liaison between sales, design, estimating, purchasing, quality and manufacturing management and other personnel
• Initiates and monitors job budgets, schedules, change orders, contract reports, and other job-related administration
• Works with the installation team to facilitate all field related work
• Ensure that the projects meet deadlines and company quality standards
• Provides design concepts through documentation drawings for designed projects

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing, delivery, and installing activities
• Support project through drawings, engineering, estimating, manufacturing, shipping, and installation
• Obtain landlord approval
• Working with the design department for drawing development
• Obtain product pricing and freight costs during the estimating process
• Obtain outside installation pricing from agents and coordinate installations
• Work order entry for production
• Maintaining acceptable profit margins on your jobs

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years Sign Industry Experience Required
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail, excellent written and verbal skills
• Able to coordinate with multiple departments/locations simultaneously
• Understand and manage the project to contract requirements, meeting all milestones and deadlines
• Experience in sourcing, selecting and successfully managing subcontractors and timelines
• Experience working with Microsoft Office; Excel, Google Sheets, etc.
• Experience securing permits, landlord approvals and customer approvals
• Must implement good customer service and office etiquette
• Exceptional organization skills, strong multi-tasker and able to prioritize duties
• Ability to work well independently as well as in teams within a rapidly changing deadline driven environment
• Availability to perform limited travel to customer locations
• Assist in managing subcontractor project work
• Read/Comprehend/Navigate standard architectural construction documents and blueprints
• Contribute to the team and projects as needed
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and achieve objectives without supervision
• Positive attitude, time management, detail oriented traits, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work with various personality types
• Valid Driver’s License

Compensation

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
