Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Principal Designer to define the look and identity for our merchant products. You will own the visual direction for DashOS, influencing how merchants interact with the tools that run their business, whether on handheld devices, tabled interfaces, or web platforms.

You will shape the design system, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and leverage AI tools to ensure production-ready, on-brand UI across surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Set the visual direction for merchant products across DashOS and align teams toward a shared vision.
• Ship high-craft interfaces with a clear point of view, turning complex workflows into screens merchants can read at a glance.
• Own the visual foundation of the design system: define tokens, components, rules and examples used by people and AI tools.
