RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Principal Thermal Engineer to lead thermal analyses across product lifecycles, from design trades to production support. You will perform hand calculations, run detailed analyses, plan tests, and shepherd models from concept to qualification, coordinating with stakeholders and government customers.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years in thermal analysis, proficiency with FloTHERM/ANSYS, and the ability to obtain an active DoD clearance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of thermal analysis experience
• Experience with FloTHERM, PATRAN, Thermal Desktop/SINDA or ANSYS
• Ability to obtain US security clearance; US citizenship required
• Experience leading a team of thermal analysts
• Strong independent work and prioritization skills
