RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Principal Thermal Engineer to join the Mechanical Analysis and Test (MA&T) department. You will perform detailed thermal analyses from design studies through production support, using finite element methods and thermal tools; lead projects and present results to customers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM and 8+ years of thermal analysis, with hands-on use of FloTHERM, ANSYS, CREO, and Thermal Desktop/SINDA; U.S.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in thermal analysis using industry tools and standard engineering methods
• Ability to lead a team of thermal analysts on major program efforts
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government issued security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
