Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Roy, UT, is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer for the Launch Systems team supporting the Sentinel program. You will join an IPT to plan, execute and document system tests across prototype, development and qualification stages.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance with option for Top-Secret in some cases; preferences include EMI/EMC and vibration/shock testing experience. Standard benefits and a 9/80 schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required or adjudicated within last 6 years.
• Experience with EMI & EMC testing per Mil-Std-461.
• Experience with Shock and Vibration testing per Mil-Std-810.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document testing for assigned systems.
• Review and evaluate test requirements for completeness.
• Develop test plans, procedures and test reports.
• Support development of instrumentation requirements for testing.
• Oversee test house activities and supplier testing for assigned systems.
• Provide test status to customer and document results.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, suppliers, lab operations and stakeholders.
