Raytheon is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer in Pasadena, CA. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship, with onsite work in the Pasadena area. You will lead architecture development, trades, and verification activities for complex defense systems.

Responsibilities include stakeholder liaison, working group leadership, CONOPS development, trade studies, and risk monitoring. You will also develop test plans and briefing packages for customers, ensuring robust system solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of engineering experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Experience with CONOPS, requirements development, test planning, and data review.

Responsibilities

Interface with stakeholders and customers to understand needs and define system solutions.
Lead a working group to drive technical discussions and alignment.
Develop concepts of operations and system architecture for new capabilities.
Perform trade studies considering technical, cost, and schedule constraints.
Monitor status and risk of capabilities in development and report to stakeholders.
Develop and execute system test plans and verify complex systems.
Identify gaps in utility and mature new capabilities through collaboration with teams.
Prepare briefing packages for customers with test results and analyses.
