Webstacks, a high-performance website operations and growth marketing agency, seeks a Principal Strategist to own delivery for our most complex accounts, from strategy to backlog. You will lead a small strategy team and report to the Head of Strategy in a hybrid San Diego setting.

The role emphasizes client insight, strategic storytelling, and turning strategy into actionable roadmaps that drive business outcomes.

Formación

• 7+ years in digital strategy with agency experience.
• Leads complex web engagements end to end.
• Trusted by director and VP-level stakeholders.
• Natural coach: helps others grow and leads by example.
• Brings structure to ambiguity and guides the room.

Responsabilidades

• Lead flagship engagements: the most complex accounts and executive stakeholders.
• Model the strategy-to-tactics translation; create roadmaps aligned to client goals.
• Navigate client dynamics and coach the team to operate independently.
• Own the quality bar for roadmaps, narratives, and client deliverables.
• Review and pressure-test strategist work; conduct teaching reviews.
• Pilot new frameworks and codify them into Webstacks methodology with Head of Strategy.
• Keep the team's thinking structured and prioritized.
• Manage the strategy team day-to-day: weekly 1:1s, workload balancing, unblocking, feedback.
