829 Studios seeks a Senior Account Manager, Web to own senior-level client relationships for complex website builds and ongoing support across WordPress, Drupal, and Shopify. You will guide scope, budget, timeline, and platform decisions, partnering with PMs, strategists, designers and developers to deliver high-impact experiences.

This role emphasizes executive communication, strategic leadership, and risk management, with remote-work options and collaboration across a Boston-based agency team.

Qualifications

• At least six years of experience in a full-service digital agency with senior-level client ownership.
• Proven experience managing complex website builds on WordPress, Drupal, and/or Shopify.
• Strong understanding of website strategy and development workflows.
• Excellent executive-level written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities and high-risk decisions.
• Experience partnering with PMs, strategists, designers and developers.

Responsabilités

• Own senior-level client relationships for complex website builds and ongoing support.
• Understand client goals, constraints, and success metrics.
• Advise on scope, budget, timeline, platform capabilities, and technical feasibility.
• Build long-term credibility through proactive communication and follow-through.
• Lead strategic conversations on roadmaps and platform evolution.
• Translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
• Balance client expectations with internal realities for sustainable delivery.
• Document decisions on scope, budget, and tradeoffs.
• Monitor budgets, forecast risk, and flag overruns early.
• Collaborate with PMs, strategists, designers and developers to ensure delivery.
• Set project plans, milestones, and priorities; hold teams accountable.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
