Job summary

Legion is seeking a Principal Software Engineer specializing in DevOps and site reliability engineering to drive automation, cloud infrastructure, and scalable platforms in a remote United States setting.

You will build tools for AWS/Kubernetes environments, craft runbooks, and own AI agent initiatives to reduce toil while enabling safe sandboxed agent execution and strong observability.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or SaaS operations.
• 3+ years managing AWS services and cloud infra using Terraform (AWS cert preferred).
• 3+ years containerized cloud solutions with Docker/Kubernetes/AWS EKS.

Responsibilities

• Support public cloud platform using multiple cloud services and containerization.
• Develop infra automation with Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, and Golang.
• Create and manage production alerts; perform root-cause analysis.
