Job summary

the company Technologies is seeking a Principal Software Engineer, DevOps to own automation, cloud infrastructure, and observability for a secure, scalable AWS/Kubernetes platform. You will build tooling, pipelines, monitoring, and AI-enabled reliability at scale.

You will participate in on-call duties and drive innovation in agent-based tooling while ensuring guardrails, cost controls, and security. This is a fully remote role within the United States for a senior SRE/DevOps professional.

Qualifications

• 12+ years experience in SRE, DevOps, or SaaS operations.
• 3+ years managing AWS services and cloud infra with Terraform; AWS cert preferred.
• 3+ years with containerized cloud solutions (Docker/Kubernetes/AWS EKS); Helm familiarity.
• 5+ years in at least one programming language (Go/Python/Bash/Perl).
• 5+ years in infra automation, CI/CD pipelines, and config mgmt (Terraform/Ansible, Jenkins, etc).
• Hands-on on Linux/Unix (RedHat/CentOS/Ubuntu/Amazon Linux).
• Hands-on with building AI systems in production — tooling, guardrails, rollback, reliability.
• Bachelor/Master in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support the company’s public cloud platform using multiple cloud services and containers.
• Develop infrastructure automation with Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, and Golang.
• Create and manage production alerts; investigate root causes.
• Develop automated operational runbooks.
• Support deployment of the WFM solution during and off regular hours.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Build and operate internal AI agents to reduce SRE toil and own guardrails and reliability.
• Own the platform enabling safe agent development: sandboxed execution and cost controls.
