Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA or Aurora, CO. You will develop and sustain mission-critical software, collaborating with a large multi-subsystem team to deliver innovative backend solutions for national security missions.

The role requires strong OO programming skills and experience with server-side languages such as C++, Python, Node.js, Go or Java, plus RESTful APIs and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; PhD with 1 year of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Must have an active SCI or TS clearance at time of application with ability to obtain SCI within a reasonable period prior to start date
• Experience in Object-Oriented programming and server-side languages
• Experience developing scalable backend solutions and RESTful/GraphQL/gRPC APIs
• Proficient with Agile principles and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
