Job summary

Astera Labs is seeking a strategic Principal Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing initiatives across the silicon supply chain, including Foundries, OSATs, Substrates, Test, and related services. You will negotiate complex agreements, build should-cost models, and drive cost savings while ensuring business continuity as the company scales for AI connectivity solutions.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, influence supplier technology decisions, and align sourcing with Astro Labs’ roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Master's degree preferred in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies for Foundry, OSAT, Substrates, and Test.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and licensing.
• Coordinate with R&D and engineering teams to align sourcing with roadmaps and timelines.
