Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to advance software-centric missile programs. You will manage system requirements, perform MBSE activities, and collaborate with Systems, Software, and Test teams to ensure first-time success.

You will model with Cameo, conduct trade studies, and provide technical leadership across verification, integration, and risk mitigation in a highly secure, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor’s degree required and 8+ years of engineering experience.
• => Experience in Systems Engineering
• => MBSE, Requirements Development, Requirements Management, or Integration and Test for software products

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain system and subsystem requirements for embedded software
• Model the system and development processes using Cameo
• Conduct trade studies and present results to customers
• SE technical contributor for verification and validation efforts
• Work with Systems, Software, Configurable Logic and Test teams on program tasks
• Participate in technical conversations with the customer
• Become a knowledgeable and ‘go-to’ Systems Engineer for the software centric program capabilities
• Onboard new team members and mentor them
