Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring plans stay on track and overseeing agile software development. You will develop schedules, identify risks, and communicate status to stakeholders while ensuring NPDI governance and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, an engineering background, 8–10 years of PM experience, and willingness to travel up to 20% (including international).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or related technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 8–10 years in technical project management or related field.
• PMI/PM certification (PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP) preferred.
• Agile Software Development project management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of NPDI phase-gate processes and terminology.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% (including international).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to meet requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedule and work plans.
• Manage Agile software development with the software team.
• Identify risks and blockers and deploy mitigation plans.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Implement change management controls.
• Document lessons learned throughout execution.
• Ensure NPDI governance and compliance.
• Balance requirements with technical constraints and negotiate trade-offs.
• Champion continuous improvement with metrics and results.
