Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate large-scale projects. You will lead field engineers and technicians, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery with profitability.

This role requires comprehensive knowledge of NEC and industry standards, strong communication, and the ability to travel internationally as needed. A track record in complex project environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NEC and industry standards (OSHA, NFPA).
• Proficient with MS Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Latista, Google Docs.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Requires work in a service center or field environment.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills to communicate with clients and peers.
• Mature judgment; capable of supervising and directing others.
• High level of communication, supervisory and organizational skills.
• Willing to travel out-of-town and internationally for extended periods.
• Regularly stand, walk, and use hands; lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project proposals to determine time frame, funding, procedures, staffing, and resources.
• Confers with managers to outline work plans and assign duties.
• Establishes staffing for each project phase and assigns personnel.
• Directs project personnel to maintain schedule and budget.
• Reviews status reports and adjusts schedules as needed.
• Prepares and presents project reports for management and clients, including change orders.
• Provides technical guidance to resolve problems.
• Coordinates activities with clients and other contractors.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for field engineers and technicians.
• Develops large-scale project management processes for the company.
• Mentors junior personnel in project management practices.
