This role serves as the top technical expert for application design and software engineering practices, partnering with stakeholders and engineers to ensure excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a Technical Program with 8+ years of experience, or 12 years of equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in the area of technical specialty; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 3+ years architecting distributed systems.
• Experience migrating workloads to cloud such as GCP / AWS.
• 10+ years IT production support experience for enterprise applications.
• 10+ years software design and development with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• 9+ years hands-on experience in object programming languages: Python, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, .NET, HTML, AngularJS, iOS Swift.

Responsibilities

• Drive multiple projects through to delivery, removing obstacles as needed.
• Provide technology production support for high-value applications across portfolios.
• Develop architecture and design of large-scale distributed software services.
• Drive improvements to software engineering practices.
• Prioritize technology investments to balance goals short- and long-term.
• Collaborate across Constellation to promote code reuse and mentor others.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and apply data-driven investments.
• Provide coaching/mentorship for IT personnel and promote diversity and inclusion.
• Cloud expansion including Azure, Appian (AWS).
• Architect integrations for Generation portfolio apps and AI adoption.
• Manage high-availability and regulated environments.
