Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to define technical direction for the organization and drive Enterprise Solution Strategy for mobile. You will work with product, architecture, and engineering leadership to balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability while remaining hands-on with critical-path systems.

You will mentor senior engineers, set reliability and security expectations, and promote testing, observability and CI/CD from day one.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience in systems analysis, design, and development.
• 7+ years in Java, Swift, SwiftUI, or Kotlin development.
• 5+ years building scalable mobile architectures across platforms.
• 3+ years CI/CD pipeline automation.
• 1+ years AI/ML tech experience (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Architectural direction and standards for mobile platforms.
• Lead technical advisory council and benchmark solutions.
• Mentor engineers and ensure reliability, security, and performance.
• Drive multi-year mobile roadmap aligned with enterprise tech.
• Promote DevSecOps and shift-left testing across stacks.
