The ideal candidate will have deep experience with public clouds and container tech, plus strong debugging and communication skills to support a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience with a BS/MS, or 2+ years with a PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record developing and operating large-scale technical projects.
• Expertise with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their IaaS offerings.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and solid production debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
• Full-cycle developer mentality with experience in high-scale, distributed systems.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will focus on building and operating cloud-native infrastructure that supports secure, efficient, and highly available systems at scale. The ideal candidate will partner closely with infrastructure engineers and other technical teams to simplify complexity, improve reliability, and drive performance across the platform. You will contribute to the evolution of distributed systems and public cloud architecture in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $212,000 – $265,000 annually
