Job summary

biBerk is recruiting a senior software engineer to join a hybrid role in Pittston, PA. You will mentor developers, drive design and implementation of RESTful APIs, and lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver cloud-first solutions.

You will contribute as both an expert and individual contributor, guiding architecture, mentoring teammates, and ensuring security and performance across projects. Occasional on-site meetings in PA or NE required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/related field or equivalent working experience.
• 10+ years of experience as a software developer, primarily using C#.
• 3+ years in a senior technical role.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Cloud services design and configuration, preferably Azure.
• Experience with monolith and microservice architectures.
• Data storage design with SQL/Document DBs and unstructured data.
• CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior technical work on cross-functional teams.
• Serve as SME for a domain within the platform.
• Mentor teammates through pairing, code reviews, and coaching.
• Design features to fit into the platform ecosystem.
• Drive architectural decisions and cross-team collaboration.
• Work with Product to align requirements with business goals.
• Create technical documentation and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Deliver frequent code contributions aligned with sprints and user stories.
• Guide testing with QA to ensure quality and performance.
• Maintain security-first mindset and ownership of issues.
