Job summary

Fullsight, LLC seeks a Principal Software Engineer in Warrendale, PA, a hybrid role with 2 days in the office and up to 3 days remote. The role focuses on architecture, design, and leadership across large web-based systems, with extensive Java/Spring work and AWS certification.

The candidate will guide the team, define system architecture, and ensure compliance with SAE development standards while collaborating with customers and mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related major.
• 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience using Java including Spring.
• At least one AWS certification.
• 2+ years in a Team Lead role; 8+ years in relevant technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert, lead, and architect on large projects.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain complex web-based systems.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex software issues; research and propose improvements.
• Integrate new web technologies with existing applications to improve functionality.
• Lead design, development, testing, and debugging; manage multiple projects.
