Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to shape technical strategy across engineering, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership. You will lead cross-team initiatives, define architectural standards, and champion AI adoption while mentoring senior engineers.

You will report to a Director-level engineering leader and help deliver scalable, high-impact digital products for clinicians and members.

Qualifications

• Visionary technologist with systems architecture expertise.
• Experience defining architectural standards across teams.
• Strong hands-on React experience.
• Experience hosting application services on AWS.
• Healthcare or regulated-industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term technical strategy and translate business goals into a technical vision.
• Define architectural standards and drive cross-team architectural roadmaps.
• Advise engineering leadership and executives with data-driven recommendations.
• Explore early-stage ideas and proofs of concept to de-risk future initiatives.
• Coach and mentor senior and staff+ engineers on complex systems.
