Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics is a tech-enabled pediatric care group reimagining care for children with special health care needs. We seek a Principal Software Engineer to shape technical strategy and drive architecture across engineering, partnering with clinical and business leaders to deliver scalable digital products.

You will lead cross-team initiatives, mentor staff+ engineers, and champion AI adoption while maintaining strong communication with executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Visionary technologist with systems thinking and deep design experience.
• Track record of setting technical strategy and cross-team alignment.
• Experience defining architectural standards and mentoring engineers.
• Strong front-end, API, and back-end understanding.
• Hands-on with React; React Native a plus.
• Experience hosting services on AWS; healthcare or regulated industry exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shape long-term technical strategy and translate goals into a vision for the org.
• Define architectural standards and drive cross-team alignment.
• Advise engineering leadership and executives with recommended actions.
• Explore early-stage ideas and de-risk future initiatives.
• Coach senior engineers and foster inter-team collaboration.
