Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics seeks a Principal Software Engineer to shape technical strategy and serve as a trusted advisor to engineering leadership. You will drive long-term architecture, mentor staff+ engineers, and lead cross-team initiatives with a focus on AI and scalable product delivery.

You will report to a senior engineering executive and collaborate with product, clinical, and business stakeholders to translate goals into architecture and requirements.

Qualifications

• A track record of setting technical strategy and driving alignment across multiple engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of front end applications, APIs, and back-end services.
• Experience hosting application services on AWS and in healthcare or regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead the solutioning, planning, and execution of long-term technical strategy across the org.
• Define architectural standards and drive cross-team architectural direction.
• Advise engineering leadership and executives with technical recommendations.
• Coach, mentor, and develop senior engineers; foster collaboration and craftsmanship.
• Champion AI adoption and ensure scalable, maintainable product delivery.
