An innovative financial institution is seeking a Principal Software Architect to lead the development of elegant software solutions. This role combines hands-on Python development with high-level design and architecture, aimed at supporting a growing subsidiary. This individual must possess extensive knowledge of software development practices and banking practices. They will leverage this expertise to create functional, elegant, and maintainable solutions for complex technical challenges. The role involves hands-on Python development as well as high-level design and architecture for the team.
The architect's work, in collaboration with the Software Development team, will support Mascoma Technologies in meeting growing business needs and maintaining a competitive edge in the financial industry. The Principal Software Architect will report to the Director of Software Engineering and may provide mentorship to junior team members.
This position can be performed remotely within our service areas.
