Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Principal Software Engineer in Test in Westlake, TX, to design and implement robust QA strategies for FIA products. You’ll lead automation across API and Web platforms, using Playwright, Cypress, Rest Assured, and more, while collaborating on CI/CD and cloud deployments.

The role demands 12+ years of experience with a relevant degree, deep knowledge of testing frameworks, and strong DevOps and source control skills.

Qualifications

12+ years experience with a bachelor's or 6+ years with a master's in computer science or related field.
Experience designing and implementing robust QA strategies and test frameworks for API and Web with end-to-end validation.
Experience in test automation using Playwright/Cypress, Rest Assured, JUnit, TestNG, Maven, ETL batch processes.
Experience with DevOps/Pipelines including Jenkins Core, LWC, and Monorepo.
Experience with source control systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket/Sourcetree.
Cloud experience preferred: AWS.
