Job summary

Fidelity in Texas is seeking a Software Developer in Test to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve customer-facing software solutions within an Agile Scrum team. You will enable the team with test automation frameworks and standard methodologies to ensure we are building the right product the right way.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in end-to-end testing, familiar with Playwright, Selenium, and REST/SOAP services, and is comfortable working in hybrid environments

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in integration and end-to-end testing for customer-facing websites in a full stack environment (Angular, Java, SOAP, Rest).
• 3–5 years designing and developing test automation using frameworks including Playwright; experience with TestNG and BDD (Cucumber/Serenity) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test strategies, scenarios, and steps for automated and manual testing.
• Participate in scrum activities such as stand ups, story refinement, and sprint planning.
• Manage the QA work throughout the agile process and ensure test coverage across environments.
• Provide best practices for test automation development and framework selection.
• Drive automation efficiencies and coverage using multiple frameworks and CI/CD integration.
