Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Software Engineer in Test in Durham, NC to automate testing of our product. You will design, build, and maintain automated test suites, collaborating with product owners, developers, and managers in an Agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in Testing/Development, experience with Playwright or Cypress, TypeScript/JavaScript, and CI/CD tooling. You will work on automation across UI and RESTful services in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

BS or above in Computer Science or related field.
6+ years of professional testing/development experience (UI and API automation).
Automation framework experience in a large enterprise using Playwright and/or Cypress.
Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and Cucumber/BDD.
Ability to investigate and solve issues across the full stack with automated and manual testing.
Experience testing Angular/Vue based UI and RESTful services.
DevOps experience with CI/CD tools (Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, uDeploy).
Code quality/coverage tools experience (Sonar) is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment and learn new tech.

Responsibilities

Build and evolve automation frameworks to ensure product quality and release readiness.
Prototype quickly to validate ideas and translate requirements into tests.
