Job summary

They seek a Principal Safety Analysis Engineer to lead deterministic safety analyses for licensing the MMR and to apply RELAP5-3D and related tools to define design basis events and verify safety requirements. You will author FSAR Chapter 15 sections, help prepare licensing documentation, and collaborate with PRA and licensing teams while mentoring junior engineers in rigorous methods and writing

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in nuclear safety analysis and licensing.
• Hands-on model development and validation for safety analyses.
• Ability to defend analyses in NRC interactions.
• Experience with code assessment and uncertainty quantification.

Responsibilities

• Lead deterministic safety analyses for design basis events.
• Develop and execute RELAP5 model for MMR.
• Document safety analysis acceptance criteria and LBE sets.
• Coordinate with PRA, licensing, and engineering teams.
• Represent technical conclusions to reviewers.
