Job summary

Terrestrial Energy Inc., a U.S. developer of Generation IV nuclear reactors, seeks a Safety Manager to build and lead a world‑class safety analysis organization for IMSR deployment.

You will recruit, mentor, and direct safety engineers and analysts, ensuring regulatory compliance and a robust safety case across design and licensing activities. The role requires extensive nuclear safety analysis experience, leadership capability, and collaboration with cross‑disciplinary teams to support DOE/NRC

Qualifications

• MSc/PhD in a relevant engineering field and PE designation preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in nuclear safety analysis.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Safety Analysis Engineers, Analysts, and Specialists.
• Oversee deterministic and probabilistic safety analyses for IMSR design.
• Prepare licensing documents (PSAR/FSAR) for NRC/CNSC licensing.
• Manage safety analyses across engineering projects and teams.
• Collaborate with Physics, Thermal-Hydraulics, Systems Engineering, and Design Teams.
