The role emphasizes deep domain knowledge, collaboration with product and design, and mentoring a flat, self-managing team. Expect to work across Ruby on Rails backend and Turbo/Tailwind frontend, with occasional React and AI tooling input.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Ruby on Rails with leadership in technical direction.
• Ability to design and evolve cross-cutting systems and APIs.
• Experience mentoring engineers and elevating team standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical direction for complex systems and data models.
• Define end-to-end scope with product and design.
• Write code across the stack (Ruby on Rails backend, Turbo/Tailwind frontend).
• Assess risks and decide when to architect or ship a simple solution.
• Mentor the team through architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Develop domain expertise to challenge product assumptions and improve provider/member experience.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and clinical teams.
