BairesDev, a global technology leader with 15+ years of experience, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to design and operate AWS serverless infrastructure powering products used by millions.

You will own features end to end, containerize services, and define data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform. This 100% remote role offers flexible hours and the chance to work with the world’s Top 1% of talent from anywhere.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in Python.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement services on AWS serverless infrastructure (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Own complete features end to end, from design through deployment.
• Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Design data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Design APIs consumed by web and mobile applications.
