Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Program Cost Scheduling Control Analyst for the Elkton, MD location to support strategic and space-related programs. You will work closely with program management, operational leaders, and internal and external customers to drive project success.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining the monthly IMP/IMS, integrating WBS/SOW, tracking EVMS, and delivering regular reports. Onsite work in Elkton, MD is required.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of scheduling experience; degree may substitute.
• MS Office applications including Excel and databases.
• Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills.
• Independent self-starter and proactive contributor. Seeks to continually improve business processes.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines and presentables.
• Must be able to work onsite in Elkton, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a monthly integrated master plan and schedule (IMP/IMS) from inception through completion.
• Integrate WBS, SOW, Teams, Deliverables, and resources into the Master Schedule.
• Support EVMS requirements and reports to financial control as needed.
• Prepare monthly operational review packages.
• Collaborate with program team to align project cost with schedule.
• Provide monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis to support business processes.
• Forecast program schedule and cost performance; plan future strategic plans.
