Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) in our Palmdale, CA facility to support the Material Cost Management organization on-site. The role emphasizes EVMS expertise, developing EACs, WBS alignment, and monthly cost and schedule reviews with CAMs and IPTs, plus variance analysis, recovery planning, and audits.

A government secret clearance is required, and the position involves a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or Master’s with 3 years in Business Management, Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related field.
Active Government Secret clearance or higher (or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Develop and review material EACs; ensure alignment with Major Subcontracts and IWOs.
Assist CAMs with EVMS activities: WBS alignment, time phasing, earned value methodologies, monthly performance measurement, ETC analysis, variance reporting.
Support monthly cost and schedule reviews, identify pressures/opportunities, and develop recovery plans.
Prepare budgets/schedules and perform financial analyses (funding profiles, sales outlook).
Provide support to IPTs and Cost Management Managers; assist audits and reviews.
