Job summary

Cisco Legal is seeking a Principal Corporate Counsel to support the Campus Networking and Webex businesses. You will provide practical legal guidance, partner with product, engineering and sales, and help navigate AI, privacy and IP matters while enabling business growth.

You will collaborate across teams, draft terms and disclosures, and serve as a trusted advisor with a can-do, team-first mindset. Hybrid work options available for select locations.

Qualifications

• Bar admission with 7+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal role.
• Experience with software/cloud/SaaS products and licensing matters.
• Strong ability to manage multiple internal clients and projects from start to finish.
• Excellent written and oral communication; distills complex issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical guidance to product management and engineering teams on lifecycle of services, products and features.
• Develop close working relationships with business, sales, engineering, operations, finance and legal teams bringing products to market.
• Advise on AI, privacy, data protection, regulatory issues and IP matters globally with legal SMEs.
• Draft and maintain product legal collateral, such as transparency disclosures and product-specific terms.
• Be a great teammate, willing to pitch in and assist wherever needed.
