Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior-level infrastructure engineer to act as the technical bridge between federal customer operations teams and internal engineering groups. You will diagnose and resolve complex production issues across Linux, virtualization, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure.

This is a hybrid role with time split between virtual work and supporting customer environments in Dallas, Oklahoma City, and Montgomery, AL. Travel to customer sites may be up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering and systems administration experience.
• VMware ESXi, vCenter, NSX experience required.
• KVM/libvirt experience required.
• Linux systems administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu) required.
• Kubernetes and containerized workloads required.
• AWS or Azure or hybrid cloud infrastructure experience.

This is a highly hands-on role focused on diagnosing and resolving complex production issues across Linux systems, virtualization, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure.

MUST HAVE:

• Active Secret Clearance
• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering/support and systems administration experience
• VMware (ESXi, vCenter, NSX)
• KVM/libvirt
• Linux systems administration (Redhat, Ubuntu)
• Kubernetes and containerized workloads
• AWZ, Azure, or hybrid cloud infrastructure

NICE TO HAVE:

• Federal customer experience
• Certifications: VCP, RHCSA/RHCE, CKA/CKAD
• Security+, CISSP, or CASP+
• AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications
• DevOps tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible, Terraform
