Job summary

Jobot seeks a senior infrastructure engineer who will diagnose and resolve complex production issues across Linux, virtualization, networking, containers, and cloud platforms. This hybrid role splits time between virtual work and customer environments in Dallas, Oklahoma City, and Montgomery, AL with travel up to 25%.

Must have an Active Secret Clearance and 10+ years in infrastructure engineering, with hands-on VMware, KVM, Linux, and Kubernetes experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering and systems administration experience.
• Experience with VMware ESXi/vCenter/NSX, KVM/libvirt, and Linux server admin.
• Proficient in Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across Linux systems, virtualization, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Serve as a technical bridge between federal customer operations teams and internal engineering groups.

Job Details

We are seeking a senior-level infrastructure engineer to serve as the technical bridge between federal customer operations teams and internal engineering organizations. This is a highly hands-on role focused on diagnosing and resolving complex production issues across Linux systems, virtualization, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure.

This is a Hybrid role where your time will be split between working virtually and supporting customer environments in Dallas, Oklahoma City, and Montgomery, AL. Travel to customer sites is up to 25%

MUST HAVE:

• Active Secret Clearance
• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering/support and systems administration experience
• VMware (ESXi, vCenter, NSX)
• KVM/libvirt
• Linux systems administration (Redhat, Ubuntu)
• Kubernetes and containerized workloads
• AWZ, Azure, or hybrid cloud infrastructure

NICE TO HAVE:

• Federal customer experience
• Certifications: VCP, RHCSA/RHCE, CKA/CKAD
• Security+, CISSP, or CASP+
• AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications
• DevOps tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible, Terraform
