Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own how Elastic Security is packaged, priced, and sold on Elastic Cloud Serverless. You will redesign the pricing model and define tiers, meters, and margins to ensure a healthy quote and strong profitability.

You will collaborate with Product, Finance, Engineering, Sales, and Product Marketing to deliver a customer-friendly consumption pricing experience and drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Led pricing and packaging for a SaaS or cloud product end to end, with margin modeling and exec approval.
• Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing, and simplifying complex models.
• 7–10 years in product management, with security or cloud data products preferred.
• Experience building multi-tenant cloud services and cost-aware architectures.

Responsibilities

• Redesign packaging and pricing for Security on Serverless; define tiers, entitlements, and meters.
• Model cost of new security capabilities with Platform and Finance; set pricing requirements.
• Grow Security on Serverless from concept to renewal; manage migrations and retention.
• Define cost controls for search configurations, data tiers, and retention for security use cases.
• Write PRDs and pricing proposals; lead cross-team pricing work across Security, Platform, Billing, and Cloud Ops.
• Present pricing to CISOs and procurement; support deals as product expert.
