Job summary

Procore is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the Procore Pay initiative from Austin, TX. You will identify markets and segments, size opportunities, and validate product-market fit with evidence-backed strategies, partnering across Engineering, UX, Marketing, Sales, and Compliance.

You will own discovery, define entry criteria, and drive release plans with pilots and bets to generate revenue growth. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management or equivalent experience.
• Experience launching new markets or products with funded, revenue-generating initiatives.
• Expertise in opportunity assessment, market sizing, and product-market fit validation.
• Discovery techniques through customer interviews, market and competitive analysis, prototype testing.
• Strong quantitative skills; ability to analyze data and synthesize insights.
• Autonomy in ambiguous environments; ability to lead without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, building buy-in among senior stakeholders.
• Experience in Construction Compliance, Payments, fintech, or B2B marketplace preferred; construction industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead opportunity assessments for new markets and segments with defensible recommendations.
• Validate product-market fit for Procore Pay in new markets and define entry criteria.
• Craft vision, assessments, and product briefs; justify decisions with data and logic.
• Break large initiatives into logical phases delivering customer value incrementally.
• Lead discovery with customers, prospects, and industry participants; synthesize findings.
• Partner with Engineering and UX to translate strategy into requirements and assess risks.
• Drive go-to-market readiness with Marketing, Sales, Enablement, and Compliance.
• Define initiative-level outcomes and report progress to executives.
• Mentor product managers and contribute to hiring panels.
