Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle seeks a Principal Product Manager - Technical to shape the future of EC2 pricing and product capabilities. You will drive pricing strategy, build global pricing tools, and coordinate with engineering, sales, and leadership to accelerate cloud adoption and optimize cost models.

You will partner across teams to define pricing models, analyze market dynamics, and craft compelling business cases that influence product direction and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience in technical product management.
• Experience working with Engineers on product enhancements.
• Experience in project management, business analysis, or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define high-quality roadmaps based on team strategy and vision.
• Develop detailed narratives and user stories for pricing strategies and features.
• Define business cases, competitive analysis, pricing analysis, and P&L models.
• Work closely with product and service leaders, sales teams, solution architects, business development and engineering teams to solve complex product and pricing issues.
• Become the subject matter expert on specific services and use cases; recommend features, functionality, and tools to help customers more easily adopt AWS products and services.
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, performance and operational support load.
• Develop high quality reporting for executive leadership.
