Gen Digital Inc. is seeking a Principal Product Designer to lead end-to-end design for AI & Innovation initiatives, onsite in Mountain View, CA.

You will shape intuitive, trustworthy experiences across AI-powered browsers and agentic apps, establishing reusable patterns and a shared design language. You will collaborate with product, engineering, research, and marketing teams, using AI-assisted tools to accelerate learning and design velocity while aligning with Gen's design system across

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product and UX design.
• Portfolio of shipped consumer web or software products.
• Experience with AI-powered, conversational, or agentic experiences is a strong plus.
• Advanced end-to-end product design across strategy, UX, interaction, visual design, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools; familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows.
• Ability to work within and evolve a mature design system across products and surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design for AI & Innovation initiatives, from framing to launch and iteration.
• Design intuitive, trustworthy experiences for AI-powered browsers, agentic apps, and emerging products.
• Establish reusable patterns and a shared design language across the portfolio.
• Frame problems with low-fidelity concepts and prototypes to enable fast learning.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, research, and business stakeholders to translate opportunities into polished experiences.
• Partner with marketing and customer experience on launch experiences and touchpoints.
• Use AI-assisted design tools and generative prototyping to increase velocity and explore options.
• Maintain consistency with Gen's design system across surfaces.
• Validate decisions with research, usability testing, and customer insights.
• Communicate rationale and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders.
